Spotlight Theatre is auditioning for an upcoming play..Joe DiPietro's "Over The River and Through The Woods". A heartwarming comedy about an Italian-American family in New Jersey. Nick, a 30 something business man has just received an offer for his dream job. Nick is the last family member that still lives in New Jersey around both sets of grandparents who he shares the Family dinner with every Sunday. The grandparents are not happy about this news and have a trick up their sleeve to keep Nick in Jersey. HILARIOUS!<Br>
The following roles are being cast:

<b>Nick Cristano </b>- Lead, Grandson, 30ish (will consider younger male). Light East Coast Accent.<Br>

<b>Caitlan O'Hare</b> - 20's. Very attractive girl. Light east coast accent.<Br>
<Br>
<b>Frank Gianelli</b> - 80's - Nick's Maternal Grandfather, East Coast, Italian-American Accent. Will consider younger male actor to character act this role.<Br>
<Br>
<b>Aida Gianelli</b> - 70's - Nick's Maternal Grandmother, East coast, Italian-American Accent. Will consider younger female actor to character act this role.<Br>
<Br>
<b>Nunzio Cristano</b> - 70's - Nick's Paternal Grandfather, East Coast, Italian-American Accent. Will consider younger male actor to character act this role.<Br>

<b>Emma Cristano</b> - 70's - Nick's Paternal Grandmother, East Coast, Italian-American Accent. Will consider younger female actor to character act this role.<Br>

Actors should come prepared with a monologue - maximum 2 minutes in length. TV or Movie monologues NOT acceptable. You should bring a current headshot and resume (if available)or a picture that well represents you. All photos and resumes will NOT be returned and become the property of Spotlight Theatre.<Br>

Rehearsals begin July 14th. A rehearsal schedule will be given to the selected cast. Opening night is scheduled for July 31st. Rehearsals will be between 3-4 times per week and all week during Tech Week.<Br>
<Br>
The show run is July 31st through August 24th (16 performances). Pay is stipend, amount depends on role.
